Michael created the logo for the Degree Plan Information Online project during the Spring 1999 semester for the Software Engineering II class, and was the one primarily responsible for the design of the site, utilizing a combination of graphics and HTML formatting to achieve the best possible load time.

Michael also integrated the initial logo into images that are viewed when logging into and out of the Degree Plan Information Online system, along with custom buttons so that users are presented with a unified, easy-to-use, web-interface.
